Lowboy detachable gooseneck trailers can be
powered from the wet kit of your truck, or a power pack can be supplied with
the lowboy trailer as an option. Lowboy trailer gooseneck are easily
accessible. A hydraulic safety locking mechanism is used on the lowboy trailers
to connect/disconnect the lowboy trailer gooseneck. The 35 ton lowboy trailer
has a platform trailer capacity of 70,000 pounds. The 50 ton lowboy trailers
have a 100,000 pound platform trailer capacity. These lowboy trailers have
concentrated load factors of 10' on the trailer platform itself. This means
that loads can be placed in any 10' section of the lowboy trailer platform.

Lowboy trailer models are available in two axle
trailers or three axle trailers. The number of tires on trailers and axles on
trailers largely determine the lowboy trailer rating. Lowboy trailers that are
35 ton and 50 ton come with 8.25 x 22.5 (10) hole disk wheels with 255/70R x
22.5 tires. A double drop feature is used on our trailers to accommodate for a
non-ground bearing lowboy trailer platform design.

Lowboy trailer main frame construction is composed of a high tensile wide flange
beam. The material is up to 38 percent stronger than mild steel on trailers,
and provides a stronger more durable lowboy trailer. The load bearing bolsters
between lowboy trailer wheels minimize wheel opening and provide more traction
when loading. Optional trailer platform lengths and lowboy trailer widths for
permitted loads are available.

Lowboy trailers come with Betts sealed lighting system. Our
lowboy trailer lighting system is better than waterproof -our trailers are
vapor proof. Lowboy trailers are also recessed for maximum protection and
includes all DOT required trailer lights.
